Helle Jorgensen is a talented fiber artist who works a lot with hemp and driftwood. She is a girl after my own heart with natural weavings, and crochet embellished driftwood.
Helle is a definite inspiration for thinking outside the box in creating.

I’ve been checking out driftwood/fiber art too! I’m thinking a day of beach scavenging is highly necessary to see what kinds of inspiration nature has to offer. Even though I live by the beach, I think a 3 hour drive to Tofino, BC is in order. All sorts of lovely treasures get washed up on the beaches there.
I feel the same way. Our closest beach is an hour and a half away, but I’d love to make the drive farther north, where the beaches are made up of stones. I’m still crossing my fingers to make the trip this summer!
