On July 4, 1776, the United States of America declared independence from Great Britain. Today, we celebrate our nation, and our independence. Let us not forget the great cost and sacrifices that our forefathers made, as well as, all of those who, have fought to protect our freedom. THANK YOU!

What is color scouting?
I spent the last two days in Seward, Alaska. When we arrived it was raining. I jumped out of the car in between rain showers to take some pictures.

I’m in Alaska !!Painting driftwood is a fun summer project that is easy enough that kids will enjoy it too. There isn’t much to it, and there is no right or wrong way to do it. So, let your creativity run wild with this one. If you feel like you would like some direction in doing this project at home, there are a number of tutorials that can be found on the internet. These are some of my favorite pieces. Maybe they will inspire you like like they have me.
